The Results Are In! Introducing Our 2013 Stewardship Report
Corporate Floors doesn't just offer a breadth of responsible solutions for our clients, we also “walk the talk” when it comes to sustainability and community involvement! We've recently collected our 2013 stewardship results, and a few highlights from our initiatives over the past year include:
- More than 1.7 million gallons of water saved by using MilliCare's dry carpet cleaning process
- Over 1.6 million square feet of carpet diverted from landfill by Texas Carpet Recycling, a subsidiary of Corporate Floors
- 20 tons of cardboard and plastic packaging recycled following installation of new carpet
- Hundreds of volunteer hours served supporting organizations such as American Forests, USGBC, Carpet America Recovery Effort and several Texas-based recycling coalitions
